It is pretty far away from Dubrovnik but there are direct ferries connecting Brac to Dubrovnik.&nbsp;<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to reach Brac from Dubrovnik&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4><h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>By ferry&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5><p>You can visit Brac from Dubrovnik by direct ferry. The journey <strong>takes about 4 hours<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p><p>You have the option of <strong>taking a ferry to Bol or Milna <\/strong>from the Dubrovnik ferry port.&nbsp;<\/p><h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>By car&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5><p>&#128663; If you are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentalcars.com\/CountryLandingPage.do?countryCode=hr&amp;affiliateCode=mindfultravel&amp;preflang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong>renting a car<\/strong><\/a>, you need to drive to Makarska and then load your car on the ferry going to Sumartin (that&rsquo;s what I did).&nbsp;<\/p><p>This journey <strong>takes only 1 hour<\/strong>. But the drive to Makarska from Dubrovnik takes 2.5 hours.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Best time to visit Brac&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h4><p>Brac is the most pleasant during <strong>May<\/strong> <strong>and<\/strong> <strong>June<\/strong> when the temperatures are moderate and the weather stays completely dry.&nbsp;<\/p><p>But the hot summer days are excellent if you want to get the most out of your trips as the frequency of ferries and buses is better.<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How<\/strong><strong> to get around Brac<\/strong><\/h4><p>Car is the best mode of transport for getting around the island of Brac.&nbsp;<\/p><p>The frequency and connectivity of buses could be better.&nbsp;<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Where to stay in Brac<\/strong><\/h4><p><strong>Bol is the best town to stay in Brac<\/strong>.
